The Role
We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to be the founding member of our marketing team at Aeqium. We are well capitalized and have built a product that can win over and delight enterprise customers, and are aiming to continue our growth by accelerating our marketing efforts.
You’ll report to the CEO and work together with the Sales team to design and execute on our demand generation strategy. You’ll be instrumental to the growth of Aeqium as we accelerate the flywheel of driving continued growth in the business. If your efforts are successful (as we have confidence that they will be!), you’ll also be first in line to build out a larger marketing team and program as we scale.
Responsibilities:
- Own a lead commitment
- Build the foundations of our Demand Generation program, including lead scoring, customer segmentation, reactivation, and nurture strategies
- Design and execute demand generation campaigns using multiple B2B channels
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure that we have a cohesive experience through our entire customer funnel
- Track, measure, and report on marketing performance
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 5+ years of B2B demand generation or growth marketing experience
- Proven track record executing effective demand generation campaigns and driving revenue across key B2B channels
- Understanding of marketing automation software and an ability to use marketing automation software to drive revenue
- Analytical mindset and creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate marketing activities and results into usable insights and actions for Sales
- Expertise in creating account based marketing and selling frameworks alongside a sales team to create opportunities from our ideal prospects
- Strong analytical background and ability to rapidly learn new technologies
- Familiarity and experience with marketing technology products such as Drift, Intercom, Account-Based Marketing technologies, email marketing, and digital advertising
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus
- Experience running demand generation programs that use a Product-Led Growth motion to drive opportunities for an enterprise product
- Experience in People Operations or HR technology
- Startup experience, particularly as a startup founder or early employee
Base Salary Range: $130,000-$180,000
You will also be eligible for equity compensation in the form of stock options.

Our team is located in SF and NYC. We work fully remotely for the time being, but we have a preference for candidates in those areas to enable some face to face time.
